Explore Lombok Beach 9 Days / 8 Night

After breakfast in the morning, hop on a boat for an excursion to an even smaller island. Gili Meno is the most sparsely inhabited of the three Gili islands. Here, cidomos are also the local means of transportation and the best way to get around. Hop on one and ride around. Pass little eateries along a small path surrounding the islet. It’s also possible to see boat-makers working on vessels. Pass by the little lake that the island hosts and arrive at the homestead of a local family of coconut farmers. Observe them as they harvest coconuts and try some of the refreshing coconut water. Then, continue to the western shore of the island, which has some of the best snorkeling in the Gilis. Impressive coral gardens are accessible directly from the white sand beach and also by boat. With a bit of luck, sea turtles can often be seen in this spot. At noon, continue by boat to Gili Air, where lunch is served at a relaxed beach-front eatery while gazing at the beautiful blue ocean. Relax on the beach where a daybed with an umbrella will be reserved. Spend the afternoon chilling out and taking the occasional dip in the water to cool off. In the afternoon board the boat again and cruise back to Gili Trawangan. Find a good place to sit down and watch the sun set. Then, enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening at leisure.

Leave Gili Trawangan behind this morning and make a short crossing to the mainland of Lombok. On the way to the southwest of Lombok, make a short stop at Malimbu Hill for a panoramic view and photo of the spectacular scenery there. With a bit of luck, it’s also possible to spot monkeys roaming the surrounding hills. Lunch is served en route by the sea in Senggigi. Continue to Sekotong in Lombok’s far southwest. Here, tourism is not yet developed, and the pace of life is decidedly slower. Spend the rest of the day at leisure after checking into the hotel on the beach.

After breakfast in the morning, embark on a boat journey to the crystalline waters of remote islands just off the coast of southern Lombok -an area that is rarely frequented by tourists. The first stop is the small islet of Gili Nanggu. Here, find stunning white-sand beaches, palm trees and incredibly colorful sea gardens and abundant sea life. Midday, take a break from island exploring and take a short boat rides to the nearby Gili Sudak. Here, stop for a lunch of grilled fresh fish in a simple warung just a few meters away from the gently rippling sea. Afterwards, spread a towel on the sand and relax or go for a stroll along the quiet beach. Next go by boat to Gili Kedis, yet another tiny slice of paradise, where a snack can be enjoyed. Depending on the availability between the two places, it is possible to swim from Gili Sudak to Gili Kedis. Return to Lombok from Gili Kedis and continue to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure.

Check-out before noon and continue the beachcombing journey along the southern coast. The drive passes through the stunning mountainous landscapes of South Lombok. Then, arrive at Selong Belanak Beach for hotel check-in. Enjoy the breeze and fresh food along with stunning views of one of the most spectacular bays on the island. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.

Today is a full day of leisure. Enjoy the villa and the beautiful surroundings. Selong Belanak Beach is one of the most spectacular long bays with white sand in Lombok. The turquoise water and calm seas are extraordinarily inviting and perfect for taking a dip or two.

Check-out this morning and drive to Tanjung Aan Bay where a picnic lunch will be served by the wide bay. There can be a choppy wave here which accentuates the color of the clear, green and deep-blue water. Go for a swim here and enjoy a fresh coconut. A picnic lunch box is served at the beach. Later in the day, continue to the secluded Beloam Beach. The Jeeva Beloam is a true hideaway, offering the experience of a secluded cove with two pristine white sand beaches. The beautiful comfortable lodge is inspired by and modeled after a traditional Sasak fishing camp and offers direct ocean views. Sleep to the sound of the waves tonight and enjoy this secluded, wonderful place. Near the lodge, Pink Beach offers exciting snorkeling opportunities with three different spots. First, snorkel at a spot near the beach which features lots of coral in different shapes and sizes. Then, continue by boat to the two small islets of Gili Petelu, connected by an exotic beach. Gravel on this beach make the water very clear and perfect for discovering the underwater-world. While on one side of the islet, it’s possible to encounter small reef sharks, on the other side there are normally many colorful fish. Continue to some of the deserted beaches around the area. Then, enjoy a snack under the shade of a tree or on the boat and take a swim or relax on the beach. Afterwards, sail back to Pink Beach and continue by car to Beloam Beach. A late lunch is served at the Jeeva Beloam. The rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.
